Thai tacos
The local taxi service called a tuk tuk.
Here's a shot of me in the foreground. I had to wear a borrowed sarong to wrap around my bare legs in order to enter the Palace. Bart had to wear a borrowed long pair of pants, that was hard for him.
We arrived at the Grand Palace just in time to see the parade of Thai soldier's marching into the Palace. 
24 karat gold leaf temple is one of 100's of buildings on the grounds of the Grand Balance built in 1782 for King Rama I.
Cool pics. We especially enjoyed the pics of Rangoon which were posted off line. Katey's family was over at the house on Thanksgiving and both her brothers, sisters and herself were reminiscing about the sights you shared. They all grew up in Rangoon in the 60's and they commented that much was the same.
